90028 was for a while reclassified as class 90/1 (for freight use) and renumbered as 90128
In 1992 this locomotive (at the time numbered 90128) was one of three locos painted in continental liveries to celebrate Railfreight Distribution's "Freightconnection" event. 90028 (90128), 90029 (90129) and 90030 (90130) appeared in Belgian, German and French liveries respectively and were named "Vrachtverbinding", "Frachtverbindungen" and "Fretconnection". At the same time a fourth loco 90022 painted in Railfreight Distribution livery was named "Freightconnection".
